Sea Spray Drive Passive Home

This 2,000 sq. ft home was designed for our client of choice, for a school project. I designed the home for my partner, Elijah. Eli wanted a surfer's paradise. A simple one-bedroom home, with the potential to convert the office into a second bedroom. Something low maintenance, with as much natural light as possible. He is an early riser and wanted the morning sun to come in through the breakfast nook in the kitchen. A detached garage for all of his surfboards and a dry room for his wetsuit was also a must.

I situated the house to True North. the NorthWest facing lot meant that the East Rising sun would come in through the kitchen, with light shining in through the living room during the afternoon, and setting in the bedroom
